The Egyptian Diving and Lifesaving Federation organised an International Pool and Beach Lifeguard Instructors course from 30 June to 6 July in Alexandria.

39 students participated in the course which was provided by Dr. Mohamed Saleh MD, Prof Dr. Mohammed Mahmoud Abbas Kotb PhD and Dr. Mohamed Hassan PhD, Mr Ashraf El Bokl. Assistants were Dr. Motaz El Haddad PhD, and Mr. Mohannad El Bokl, who are ILS accredited Instructors as well.

Six students failed the tests and are preparing for re-test.
