The African Lifesaving Confederation is an entire part of the International Life Saving Federation (ILS). The ILS is the world authority for drowning prevention, aquatic lifesaving and lifesaving sport counting nowadays 48 million members in 169 countries. We all are dedicated to fight against the 1.2 million drowning deaths per year. Indeed, every minute, two people die by drowning, from which one is a child. An unacceptable toll.
