The Moroccan Lifesaving Federation organised an International Lifeguard Instructors Course in Agadir (Morocco) from 14 to 24 February 2019. The objective of the course was to create good levelled International Lifeguard Instructors that could provide Lifeguard courses in their countries in accordance with ILS standards.
Representatives from 9 different nations participated: Morocco, Belgium, Algeria, Ghana; Burkina Faso, Libya, Cameroon, Kenya, Mauritania. In total over 30 people.
13 male students participated: 5 from Morocco, 3 from Cameroon, 2 from Niger, 2 from Kenya and one from Libya. Two students did not pass: one from Niger and one from Kenya.
The Instructors were: Dr. Harald Vervaecke PhD (SG) and Dr. Mohamed Ali Gharbal (Morocco) as well as five co-instructors from Morocco.
