Beach Lifeguard course in Mauritania

Under the patronage of the Minister of Labour, Youth and Sport, a beach/surf lifeguard course was organised in Nouadhibou, a coastal city of Mauritania. The course was co-organised by the ILS and the ILS African Academy with the collaboration of the Mauritania Diving and Lifesaving Federation.
The course was provided by Afara Bouchtaoui from Morocco, ILS International Instructor. The course took place from 22 to 28 November 2019. Fifteen male students took place in the course and 10 of them received the ILS International Beach/Surf Lifeguard Certificate.
The course was visited by the Ambassador of Morocco in Mauritania and by the Regional Governor of Nouadhibou.
