The 2024 Lifesaving World Championships (LWC) took place at the Gold Coast in Australia. The Event was hosted by Surf Life Saving Queensland (SLSQ), together with the support of the City of Gold Coast and Surf Life Saving Australia (SLSA).
Australia’s Gold Coast is Australia’s sixth largest city. Situated in the south east corner of the state of Queensland, the Gold Coast stretches along 57 kilometres of coastline and is home to over half a million people.
