The Egyptian Diving and Lifesaving Federation (EDLF) organised an ILS International Lifeguard Instructors course in Sharm El Sheikh (Egypt) from 11 to 19 March 2017. The objective of the course was to create good levelled International Lifeguard Instructors that could provide Lifeguard courses in the country in accordance with ILS standards.

Twenty four (24) students from Egypt, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates participated.

The Instructors were: Dr. Harald Vervaecke PhD (Belgium) and Dr. Mohamed Saleh MD (Egypt).
