The Algerian Federation of Underwater Activities and Aquatic Lifesaving organised an ILS International Lifeguard Instructors course in Algers (Algeria) from 25 November to 2 December 2017. The objective of the course was to create good levelled International Lifeguard Instructors that could provide Lifeguard courses in the country in accordance with ILS standards.

43 students took part in the course.

The Instructors were: Dr. Harald Vervaecke PhD and Dr. Mohamed Saleh MD.
