SUMMARY:2024 Lifesaving World Championships
DESCRIPTION:The 2024 Lifesaving World Championships (LWC) took place at the Gold Coast in Australia. The Event was hosted by Surf Life Saving Queensland (SLSQ)\, together with the support of the City of Gold Coast and Surf Life Saving Australia (SLSA). \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Gold Coast is a metropolitan region south of Brisbane on Australia’s east coast. It’s famed for its long sandy beaches\, surfing spots and elaborate system of inland canals and waterways.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAustralia’s Gold Coast is Australia’s sixth largest city. Situated in the south east corner of the state of Queensland\, the Gold Coast stretches along 57 kilometres of coastline and is home to over half a million people. Beyond the city’s beautiful beaches are vast\, sub-tropical rainforests with breath-taking scenery. Un maximum de 40 participants sera accepté dont 20-25 du Togo.\n\n\nLicence et Assurance\nL’inscription couvre également l’assurance.\n\n\nHeures de formation\n45 heures au minimum – du lundi 3 mars au vendredi 7 mars – les cours ont lieu de 8.30 à 12.30 et de 13.30 à 18.30 heures.\n\n\nExamen \nL’examen aura lieu le samedi 08 mars après les cours de 8.30 à 16.00 heures. DESCRIPTION:The 2028 Lifesaving World Championships\nThe International Lifesaving Federation has appointed Agadir in Morocco as the location of the 2022 Lifesaving World Championships. With the outbreak of the Corona Virus at the end of 2019 (Covid-19) and the rapid spread of the virus in 2020\, the 2020 World Championship planned in 2020 in Riccione – Italy\, was postponed to October 2022 in Riccione – Italy. In view of the serious pandemic situation\, the Royal Moroccan Lifesaving Federation kindly accepted to postpone the organisation of the 2022 Championship of Agadir and host it in September 2028 in Agadir. \n\n\nMorocco\, officially known as the Kingdom of Morocco is a unitary sovereign state located in the Maghreb region of North Africa. Geographically\, Morocco is characterised by a rugged mountainous interior\, large tracts of desert and a lengthy coastline along the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea. \nMorocco has a population of over 33.8 million and an area of 446\,550 km2. Its capital is Rabat\, and the largest city is Casablanca. Other major cities include Marrakesh\, Tangier\, Salé\, Fes\, Agadir and Meknes. \n\n\n\nAgadir is a major city in mid-southern Morocco. It is located on the shore of the Atlantic Ocean near the foot of the Atlas Mountains\, just north of the point where the Sousse River flows into the ocean. \n\n\n\nAgadir is a fine and modern city at the Atlantic Ocean with wide avenues\, blooming gardens\, superb hotels\, first grade airport and a magnificent port. The population of Agadir (approximately 700\,000 people) is known for their hospitality and care and you would surely find yourselves wanting to come back to enjoy the city. \n\n\n\nThe Hotels\, Beach venue\, Pool venue and Lifesaving Village are all within 20 km from each other\, which is all on walking distance.
